Orders and Payments

Information we collect when you place an order

When you buy from our store, we collect the information needed to process and deliver your order, including your name, company name (if provided), billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the products you purchase. If you create an account, we also store your order history so you can track orders and reorder easily.

We use this information to fulfil and ship your order, send order confirmations and shipping updates, respond to customer service requests, process returns and refunds, and keep the business records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your full card details are entered into and handled by Stripe and are not stored on our website or by DBS Sales and Service Inc. Stripe processes your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Shipping partners

To deliver your order, we share your name, shipping address and, where needed, your phone number with our shipping carriers (such as UPS and FedEx) and with the partner and supplier facilities that ship orders on our behalf.

Quote Forms and WhatsApp

Bulk quote and contact forms

When you submit a bulk quote request or contact form on our website, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, printer models, estimated volume and any message you include. Our forms are powered by WPForms, and your submission is sent to our team by email so we can respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote. We use this information only to respond to you and to provide the products or services you asked about.

WhatsApp

If you contact us through WhatsApp, including through the chat button on our website, your conversation takes place on the WhatsApp service. We will see your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the messages you send, and we use them only to answer your questions and assist with your orders. WhatsApp's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We use Google Search Console to understand how our website appears in Google Search results. It shows us combined information such as which searches our pages appeared for, how many times they were shown and clicked, and general location and device information. This information is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors, and Search Console does not place cookies on your device when you visit our website.

Comments and Media

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

Cookies

Our store uses essential cookies to make shopping work. These keep track of the items in your cart and your session while you shop, and remember whether you are logged in. Shopping cart and session cookies typically last up to two days. These cookies are necessary for the store to function and are not used for advertising.

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

We share personal information only where it is needed to run our business and serve you:

  • Stripe, to process your payments.
  • Shipping carriers and partner facilities (such as UPS and FedEx), to deliver your orders.
  • Our website hosting and email providers, which store our website data and deliver form submissions and order emails to us.
  • Authorities, where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle returns and warranty issues, and meet our tax, accounting and legal record-keeping obligations. Quote requests and messages are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting orders.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, have placed an order, submitted a form or left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Payment information is sent to Stripe, and delivery details are sent to our shipping carriers and partner facilities. Form submissions are delivered to our team by email, and WhatsApp messages are handled through WhatsApp. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
